Vaibhava Silks

Vaibhava Silks is located on Sinhagad College Road in the Sri Nagar area. We are at number 29, Survey No 43. The road is often full of students and locals going about their business, which keeps the area energetic. Our shop is where we keep all the silk fabrics and sarees we have collected over time. It is a bright space, mostly because we need to see the colors clearly under the lights. We spend a lot of time folding and unfolding the fabric for anyone who comes in to take a look. It is a lot of work to keep everything neat, especially when it gets busy during the wedding seasons. We’ve been here in Sri Nagar for a while, and we’ve gotten to know the families who live around Sinhagad College Road. The shop isn't a high-end boutique with fancy chairs; it’s a place where people sit on simple stools to look at the cloth. We just focus on the material we have on the shelves. Sometimes the deliveries are late, or the rain makes the road muddy, but we keep the doors open anyway. It is just a regular silk shop run by people who appreciate the work that goes into making these fabrics. We don't do much in the way of big sales or fancy posters, we just let the silk speak for itself. We stay busy with the measuring tape and the scissors, making sure the orders are ready for everyone who needs them.
