The shop is at 52/2-29 in Bommanahalli. It is mostly a noisy place because of the machines running all day long. We have been in this spot for some time and the neighbors know us by the sound of the metal work. There is always some grease on the floor and our clothes are never really clean by the end of the day. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby for visitors. It is just the workspace and a small area where we keep the hand tools and some spare parts. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait, which gives us a chance to sit outside for a bit. Bommanahalli gets quite busy during the day, so there is always a lot of traffic passing by our front door. We do a lot of small jobs and some bigger ones too, depending on what people bring in. It is not a complicated business. We just take the drawings or the parts and get to work on them. The workbenches are old and the lighting could be better, but it works for what we do. We spend most of the morning setting up the lathes and the drills. By the afternoon, the floor is covered in metal shavings. We sweep up before leaving, then do it all again the next morning. It is steady work and it keeps us busy. We don't talk much while working because the machines are loud.
