V M Engineers

V M Engineers is based out of the Peenya Industrial Area. We are at B-30 on the 1st Cross in the 1st Stage. Peenya is a huge industrial hub, and being in the 1st Stage means we’re in one of the more established parts of it. Our workshop is usually full of the sounds of machines and metal. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we’re used to it. We’ve got our equipment set up and we spend the day working on various engineering tasks. The building is a standard industrial unit. There’s usually some grease on the floor and tools scattered around the workbenches. We try to keep it organized, but when you’re busy, things get a bit messy. The 1st Cross gets a lot of delivery trucks coming through, so it can be a bit tight for parking sometimes. We’ve been at this B-30 address for a long time. The B-30 building is nothing special to look at, just concrete and iron, but it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. We have a small area in the back where we keep the scrap metal. Sometimes we find a use for it later on. The 1st Stage of Peenya has a certain smell to it—a mix of machine oil and exhaust. You don’t notice it after the first ten minutes. We’ve had the same heavy workbench for twenty years. It’s scarred and dented, but it’s solid. Our tea breaks are usually taken standing up.
