Uttam Tea Agency

This is Uttam Tea Agency. We are located at the Ashok Nagar Complex in Rajajinagar, specifically on Kharadi Road in Chandan Naga. It's a busy area. We deal with tea in bulk mostly, but individuals come in too. The shop is number 2933. It’s a bit of a maze in this complex sometimes. We’ve been here quite a while. We have all sorts of grades of tea leaves. Most of our day is spent packing and weighing. It’s a simple setup. Just shelves and sacks of tea. The air always smells like a plantation. We don’t do any marketing or flashy signs. People find us because they know the quality is decent for the price. We work with a few different gardens to get the stock. Sometimes the supply is slow, but we manage. My father started this and now I help run it. It’s a family thing. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming for ten years or more. They don't even have to say what they want, we just know. It’s not a big company, just a local agency. We handle the paperwork ourselves. It gets busy during the festival seasons. Everyone wants extra tea for their guests then. We just keep our heads down and work. That’s the way it is. We hope to stay right here for many more years.
