John Distilleries

Our office is situated at R R Residency on the 8th Cross in Panduranganagar, which is just off the main Bannerghatta Road. Being so close to such a major road means we are always dealing with the heavy Bangalore traffic just to get to the front door. The office is in building number 267 and it is where we manage a lot of the distribution and administrative work for the distillery business. It’s a functional space with a lot of movement, people coming in for meetings or to drop off documents. Panduranganagar is a bit of a residential pocket, so it’s slightly quieter once you get off the main road, but you can still hear the honking from the flyover. We have a small team here working on the logistics and sales side of things. There are usually plenty of boxes and sample bottles around the place, which can make it feel a bit cramped. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and vendors across the state. The residency building has its own quirks, like the elevator that sometimes takes forever to arrive. We usually start our day early to beat the worst of the heat and the traffic. It’s a steady environment where we focus on getting the product out to where it needs to be. We’ve been at this location for a good period and it has become our second home. We often have to clear the hallway of boxes just to let people pass through.
