Cafe Coffee Day

This specific spot of ours is over in the Reddy Building on 11th Cross. If you know the Banashankiri Tent area in Hongsandhra, you have probably walked past us a dozen times already. Bommanahalli is a loud and very busy part of Bangalore, and our little Cafe Coffee Day is right in the thick of all that action. We get a lot of students and office workers who just need a seat for an hour to get away from the sun. The tables get a bit wobbly sometimes and we are always moving the chairs around to try and fit larger groups. It is not a quiet library type of place; it is more for talking and getting a quick drink before heading back to work. We spend a lot of time cleaning up sugar spills and making sure the coffee machine is behaving itself. Some mornings it feels like everyone in Bangalore decided to come in at the exact same minute. We just keep our heads down and make the orders as they come in. The staff here lives mostly nearby in the neighborhood, so we know the local shortcuts and which buses are running late today. It is a practical place to meet someone if you are already in this part of town. We do not do anything too fancy, just the regular menu everyone is used to. The lighting is okay, the AC works most of the time, and we try to keep it comfortable.
