Our shop, Univercell, is at number 94 in Nagarbhavi. It’s a small place dedicated to mobile phones and all the little bits that go with them. We have glass cases filled with different models and accessories, and there’s always a stack of phones waiting for repairs on the back desk. Nagarbhavi is a growing area, so we get all sorts of people walking in. Some just need a new screen guard, while others are having trouble with their battery not charging. We spend a lot of our time looking through magnifying glasses at tiny circuits. It’s quiet work mostly, punctuated by the bell on the door when someone enters. We aren't a massive retail store, so things feel a bit more personal here. We know which parts are hard to find and which ones we keep in stock all the time. The shelves are packed with chargers and cases that we try to keep organized. It gets a bit messy when we have several repairs going on at once. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; we just rely on people in the neighborhood knowing we’re here at 94. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, fix what’s broken, and help people find a phone that works for them. The lighting is bright so we can see the small parts, and that’s about as fancy as it gets. Usually, it's just one or two of us here handling the daily rush of broken screens and software updates.
