R B Cell is situated on Kanakapura Road, specifically near the Kumbhariya Vedchha Patiya junction. It’s a place that sees a lot of travelers and local people moving through all day long. Our shop is small and filled with various cell phone items, mostly covers, cables, and second-hand handsets that we’ve refurbished. The dust from the road is a constant battle, so we are always wiping down the glass shelves to keep things looking decent. We don’t have any fancy chairs for customers, just a couple of stools and the counter we stand behind. Most of the work involves explaining how different phones work or helping someone transfer their photos to a new device. It’s a lot of patient talking. We’ve been here at this spot for some time, and we like being on this side of Kanakapura Road because it’s a bit of a hub. There is always someone coming in with a broken charger or asking for a specific type of SIM card. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know our way around the insides of a phone. Sometimes it’s quiet, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by, but usually, there’s a steady stream of folks needing something quick for their mobile. We just try to be helpful and get the job done without making it complicated. We close up quite late most nights and start early.
