We are situated out on Tumkur Road, specifically at the 20th Mile mark near Nelamangala. Being this far out from the center of Bangalore means there is a bit more space. It is a long commute for some of us every day, though. The facility is quite large. There is always a lot going on behind the gates. You can hear the hum of the cooling systems and the clinking of bottles from all the way down the road. It’s a very industrial environment. We have lots of safety gear and strict schedules to follow. There are a lot of people working here in different shifts. The place never really sleeps. Trucks are constantly coming in to pick up loads or dropping off supplies. It gets pretty frantic during the summer months when everyone is thirsty. The ground is mostly paved, but there’s plenty of grit and dirt that gets tracked in. We aren't really set up for visitors to just wander in. It is a busy production site. Most of the day is spent looking at gauges or moving pallets around with the forklifts. It’s a lot of repetitive work. It is necessary to keep things moving, though. We’ve been out here in Nelamangala for quite some time now. We’ve seen the area change a lot with more warehouses popping up along the highway. It’s a tough job but we just get on with it and stay focused.
