Uma Kanth & Sudharshan

Our office is tucked away on Surveyors Street in Basavanagudi, at number 67. It’s a bit of a traditional neighborhood, which we like. Uma Kanth & Sudharshan is just the name on the door, really. Most of the time it’s just us working through files and talking to people who drop by with their paperwork. We’ve been in this spot for a good while now. Basavanagudi has that old Bangalore feel, and Surveyors Street is usually manageable even when the main roads are packed. We don't have a big reception area or any of those modern glass partitions. It’s more of a place where you sit down and talk about what needs doing. We handle a variety of tasks, mostly things that require a bit of patience and looking through old records. Some days are slow and we just sit and have coffee, while other days everyone seems to show up at the same time. It’s a small operation. We don’t really do much in the way of promotion; it’s mostly just people in the area knowing we’re here. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up, but that’s fine. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We like the fact that we can walk down the street and see familiar faces. It’s not a corporate setup, just a local office where we get the work done as it comes in. There is always a lot of paper to sort through, but we manage to stay on top of it.
