Udaya Citi Taxi

Udaya Citi Taxi operates out of number 9 on Anjenaya Street in Austin Town. This little area in Y G Palya is tucked away but it is quite close to the Ashok Nagar Police Station, which is how most people find their way to us. Having run our taxi service from this spot for a while, it has become a hub of activity. Drivers are always coming in and out to pick up their schedules or to take a quick break between trips. The office is small and usually smells like coffee and old paper. Dispatchers stay on the radio or the phone all day, making sure the cars get to the right addresses in the city. Traffic can make things stressful when customers are waiting, but we do what we can to keep things moving. No fleet of shiny new cars is parked outside, but our vehicles are kept in good enough shape to get people where they need to go. Austin Town is a nice place to be based because it is central and we can get to different parts of the city fairly quickly. Shortcuts and backstreets are well known to us, which helps a lot. It is just a small local operation, but we stay busy and know a lot of the regular passengers who call us every week.
