Transcom

We are based at 34 Electronic Estate on the Pune-Satara Road. Being in an estate like this means there are a lot of other businesses around us. Transcom has been here for a while now. We focus on the technical side of things, but we aren't some high-tech startup with bean bags and free snacks. It's just a regular workshop and office area. We have tools, some computers, and a lot of parts lying around. The traffic on Pune-Satara Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to finish up and head out before it gets too bad. We do a lot of maintenance and support work. People bring things in, we look at them, and we see if we can fix them or get them running better. It’s honest work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. If something is broken, we tell you. If it’s fine, we tell you that too. The staff here is pretty small, just a few technicians and someone to handle the phones. We’ve been in the Electronic Estate long enough that we know most of the other shop owners. It’s a good community. We don't really do much marketing because we usually have enough to do just from the people who know us already. It keeps the lights on and the work keeps coming in, so we just keep at it day after day.
