Timken Engineering

We are Timken Engineering, based out of Saraswathinagar in Bangalore. Our address is 212, 5th Cross. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads. We focus on engineering work here. The building is a bit older, but it serves us well for what we do. We have been in Bangalore for a good amount of time now. Most of the staff lives nearby, so we are a local bunch. We spend our days dealing with various technical tasks and making sure everything is measured correctly. It is not the kind of work you can rush through. We have some heavy desks and a lot of paper around. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or use the backup generator if it's really necessary. That is just how it is here. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything like that. People who need us usually know where to find us on 5th Cross. We keep a regular schedule, starting in the morning and heading home once the sun goes down. It’s practical work. We use a lot of tools and software to get things designed. The street outside has some trees, which makes it nice during the hotter months when the sun is beating down. We just stay focused on the tasks we have for the day. It is a straightforward operation without much fuss. We like being part of the Saraswathinagar community and seeing the same street vendors every day. It feels like home to us.
