Our shop is at No.28 on Kanakapura Road, right in the JC Industrial Layout. Timek Precision Engineering Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this space for a good bit of time. It is an industrial area, so there is always noise from the machines and trucks moving around outside. We focus on engineering parts. The floor is usually covered in some metal shavings or oil, which is pretty standard for a place like ours. We have some old machines that still work great and some newer ones that take a bit of figuring out. It is a lot of measuring and cutting metal to the right size. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because the material is stubborn. We don't have a front desk person or a waiting room with coffee. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back with our earplugs on. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially when we have a big order to get through. We aren't trying to be fancy or look like a showroom. We just make the parts people need and try to keep the machines running smooth. The neighborhood knows us as the guys who get the engineering work done without making a big deal out of it. We take our lunches together when we can, but usually, someone is always monitoring a machine.
