Time City Taxi

Our office is located at number 20 in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. We are on 4th Main, not too far from the Aathi Kabir Ashram. It’s a decent spot for a taxi business because it’s easy to find. We spend most of our time coordinating where the cars need to go. There’s usually a pot of tea going and a lot of keys hanging on the board by the door. Some days are hectic when everyone wants a ride at the same time, especially when it rains. We have a logbook where we write down the trips and the times. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. The drivers come in and out, complaining about the traffic or the potholes on the main roads. We just listen and hand them their next assignment. It isn't a fancy corporate setup with uniforms. Just local people driving cars to get other people where they need to be. Sometimes the office feels a bit small when everyone is there at once, but we manage. We’ve been in RT Nagar for a while now and know the shortcuts around the ashram pretty well. Most of our work is just staying on top of the schedule and making sure the phones are answered. It’s practical work and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. We just keep the cars moving and the logs updated as best we can.
