Throttle

Throttle is located at No. 219 on the 3rd Main in Jayanagar 6th Block. It is a nice spot with some trees around, but inside our shop, it is all about the bikes. We have been here for a while now, and the place usually smells like oil and old tires. It is not a very big shop, so it gets crowded quickly when we have a few motorcycles inside. Most of our time is spent with a wrench in hand, trying to get an engine to sound right. We don't have a team of marketing people; it is just us and our tools. We take on all kinds of repairs, from simple oil changes to more complicated engine work. Jayanagar is a great neighborhood to work in because people here really care about their vehicles. We don't use any fancy talk when we explain what's wrong with a bike. If it's a quick fix, we say so, and if it's going to be a headache, we tell you that too. People seem to like that we are straight with them. A lot of our day is just talking to other riders who drop by to see what we are doing. It is a simple life centered around gears and grease. We open up early and work until the jobs are done.
