The Pub

We've been here at Malleshwaram 1522 for a while now. It’s just a spot where people come to sit down after a long day at work or on the weekends when they don’t want to be at home. The Pub isn't anything fancy, honestly. We have the usual tables and chairs, and the lights are a bit dim because that's how people seem to like it. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when there’s a game on, but mostly it’s just the sound of folks talking over their drinks. We started out thinking we’d do something different, but it turned into this comfortable place where everyone knows which chair they like best. The floors have some scuffs and the menu is pretty straightforward, but it works for us. Malleshwaram has changed a lot since we opened, with more traffic and new shops popping up everywhere, but we just stay here doing our thing. You might find some dust on the shelves or a flickering bulb we haven't reached yet, but that’s just how it is. It's not about being the flashiest place on the block. We just open the doors in the evening and wait for the regulars to show up. It's a lot of work keeping things running, especially when the fridge acts up or we run out of something unexpected, but we manage. If you’re looking for a quiet corner or a place to just be yourself for an hour, this is where we are.
