The Narayan'S Suggi

The Narayan'S Suggi is our place over at Chikkabettahalli 18. We chose this spot because it felt right for the kind of traditional feel we wanted to have. It is not in the middle of the big city rush, which we actually prefer. We serve food that reminds us of home and the way things used to be cooked. The kitchen is where most of the action happens, and we use recipes that have been around for a long time. We don't try to change them or make them modern. We just cook them the way they are supposed to be. The building is simple and we keep the seating comfortable but basic. You won't find any high-tech gadgets or fancy lights here. It’s just a place to sit down and eat something that tastes real. Sometimes we run out of certain items if it's been a busy day, but that’s because we don't like to keep things sitting around for too long. The people who work here are like family, and we treat our customers the same way. We’ve been in Chikkabettahalli for a bit now and the locals seem to appreciate having us around. It’s a quiet life, mostly spent in the kitchen or chatting with the people who drop by for a meal. We spend our afternoons prepping for the next day, grinding grains and sorting through the fresh produce we get from the local markets. It is a slow, steady kind of work.
