The Lounge Bar

The Lounge Bar is at 722/22 in Jayanagar. It’s not the biggest place on the block, but we like it that way. We keep the lights low because it feels more comfortable when people are trying to unwind. Most nights, it’s just a mix of local residents and people who work nearby stopping in for a drink. We don't have a fancy dress code or a guy standing at the door checking names. You just walk in and find a spot. The bar itself has been here for a few years, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street outside. We serve a variety of drinks, nothing too complicated, just the standard stuff people usually ask for. The music is usually just whatever is on the radio or a playlist someone put together on their phone. Sometimes we run out of a certain brand, but we usually have something else that works. It’s a bit worn around the edges, maybe the carpet has seen better days, but it’s a real place. We aren't trying to be the trendiest spot in the city. We just want to be the place where you can sit down and not be bothered. It’s a simple setup at a simple address. We keep the doors open late, and as long as people are having a quiet time, we’re happy to stay.
