Tesco

We work out of an office in Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore. It’s a well-known name, Tesco, but here it’s just our daily workplace. We are not a store where you can go and buy groceries. Instead, we handle a lot of the backend things that keep everything running. The office is located in a pretty nice part of Kalyan Nagar with plenty of trees and shops nearby. It’s a standard corporate building, but inside it’s just rows of people at their desks. We have a cafeteria where most of us eat lunch together. The atmosphere is pretty busy, with people always rushing to meetings or talking on the phone. It isn't anything special to look at, just a lot of cubicles and whiteboards. We’ve been based in this area for several years. The traffic in Bangalore can be a real headache, so getting to the office in the morning takes some time. Once we’re here, it’s just about getting the work done. We don't really have any big mission statements posted on the walls. We just focus on our tasks and try to keep things moving. Some days are long, and we’re all ready to head home when the clock hits five. It’s a steady job in a decent part of the city. We aren't trying to be flashy about it, just doing our part of the work and keeping the systems going every day.
