S S Mart

S S Mart is located on Ebrahim Sahib Street in Kalasipalyam, at number 24/C. This neighborhood is famous for the big bus stand nearby, so there are always people traveling through. Our street is lined with all sorts of shops and it gets very crowded with delivery trucks early in the morning. We sell all kinds of general items that people need for their homes. The smell of spices and grains is usually the first thing you notice when you walk inside. We have big bags of rice and flour stacked up in the corners. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when we get a lot of customers at once, but we make it work. I have lived around here for most of my life, so I have seen the way Kalasipalyam has grown. The shop is a simple one-room space with high shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We use a long stick to reach the items at the top. It is hard work staying open late into the night, but that is when many people are heading home and need to pick up a few things for dinner. We don't do any flashy advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here and that we have what they need. It is a humble life, but we are happy to be part of this community.
