If you head down Richmond Road toward the corner of D Souza Road, you’ll find us at No. 11/5 in Tek Towers. It’s a pretty central spot, which makes getting here okay, though the traffic in this part of town is usually a mess by mid-afternoon. Tektronix India Pvt Ltd is where we spend our days. We mostly work with testing and measurement tools. It’s a lot of electronic stuff that needs a careful hand. The office isn't overly decorated; it’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of wires. Some of us have been here since the early days, while others are newer. We don't really do big meetings with fancy slides. It’s more about sitting down and figuring out why a piece of equipment isn't doing what it's supposed to do. There is always a pot of tea or coffee going in the small break area. Sometimes we eat lunch at our desks when things get busy. We get all sorts of people calling in with technical questions. We try to answer them as plainly as we can without making it too complicated. The building itself is okay, but the elevators can be a bit slow on rainy days. It's just a regular workplace where people show up and do what’s expected. We focus on the gear and the data. Nothing more, nothing less.
