Swarna Real Estate

Swarna Real Estate is located at 112 Shivaji Nagar, on Mk Street. We are on the 1st floor, which is a good thing because Mk Street gets very flooded whenever it rains heavily. Shivaji Nagar is a very intense place to work. There are people everywhere, all the time, and the noise from the market and the nearby bus station is constant. Our office at 112 isn’t very big, just a few chairs and a table where we look over property papers and maps. The stairs up to the 1st floor are a bit steep and narrow, so you have to be careful coming up. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, though the chaos stays the same. People come in to ask about rents or land prices, and we just tell them what we know. There’s no fancy computer system here, mostly just notebooks and our own memory of the local streets. We keep the windows closed to try and keep the dust out, but it never really works. It’s a busy life, and there’s always someone knocking on the door with a question. We just do our best to help them out and keep the business moving along, even when the power goes out and we have to use candles to see what we are writing.
