Swadeshi Agro Chemicals

The shop is over at 329 E on the 5th Cross in G R Nagar. We are pretty easy to find since we are right near the H P petrol bunk. It’s a convenient spot for farmers to pull over when they are heading back from the fields. The shelves inside are mostly packed with different bottles and bags for the crops. It’s not a big place, so things can get a bit cluttered when a new shipment arrives and we have to stack it all up in the corners. I spend a lot of time just talking to guys about their soil or why the leaves on their plants are turning yellow. It’s mostly just us here, moving boxes and checking the labels. The floor is concrete and stays a bit cool, which is nice in the summer. Some days are very slow, and I just sit by the door watching the traffic go by the petrol station. Other days, everyone comes at once and we are rushing to find the right stuff for them. We try to keep what people need for the current season, whether it’s for the rice or the vegetables. It’s just a regular agro shop. Nothing fancy, just a lot of bags and the smell of chemicals in the air. We’ve been at this spot for a bit, and most people around G R Nagar know where to turn off to find us when they need something for their land or just want to chat about the harvest.
