You can find us at Yard 31 on the Lorry Godown Street in the Yeshwantpur APMC market. It is a very loud and dusty place because of all the big trucks moving in and out all day long. We deal with trading various goods, so there is always a lot of loading and unloading happening right in front of us. Our office is just a small, cramped room at the back of the godown. It is usually filled with the smell of diesel and whatever goods are being moved that day. The workers here are used to the heavy lifting and long hours. We start our day very early, usually when the first trucks arrive at dawn. There is a lot of shouting and noise as people coordinate where every bag and crate should go. It is not a clean or quiet environment, but it is where the real work gets done. We have been in the APMC yard for a long time, so we know all the other traders and the regular drivers who come through. The small tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks talking. We do not have a website or anything like that, we just do our business face-to-face or over the phone. It is a tough way to make a living, but it is what we know. Everything depends on the market prices and the transport being on time. It is a busy life.
