Karnataka Agro Centre

Karnataka Agro Centre is tucked away in Gandhi Nagar 2nd Cross 10. It’s a small, practical shop. We focus on agriculture products, mostly for the smaller farms and gardens nearby. We have bags of feed and different types of seeds stacked along the walls. The floor is old stone and stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We don't have a lot of staff, usually just two of us here to help whoever walks in. It’s a quiet street compared to the main bazaar, which is nice for talking to customers. They often stay for a bit to talk about their crops or the rain. We’ve been here long enough that we know most people by name. We don't do any big promotions or anything. We just keep what people need in stock. Sometimes the delivery truck can't find the 2nd Cross and we have to go out and wave them down. It’s a bit of a laugh. We use an old calculator that’s missing a button, but it still works fine. Life here is pretty steady. We open up early, sweep the front, and wait for the day to start. It’s a good way to spend the day, surrounded by things that grow. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to be a reliable place for the local farmers. That’s the way we like it. We’ll be here tomorrow doing the same thing. There is always work to be done.
