Muk Agro Centre

Working at the APMC Yard in Yeshwantpur is always a bit of a challenge because of how busy it stays. We are at 18/22 in the yard. If you’ve ever been here, you know it’s all about the trucks and the loaders. At Muk Agro Centre, we deal with a lot of agricultural supplies. It’s mostly bags of seeds and different things for farmers. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of grain and dust from the yard. We start our day very early, usually when it’s still cold outside. There is a lot of paperwork to deal with because of all the loads coming in and going out. The office is just a small desk in the corner of the warehouse area. It’s usually covered in receipts and half-empty tea cups. We don’t have any fancy chairs or air conditioning, just a big fan that moves the dust around. It’s a noisy place with people shouting and horns honking all day long. My clothes always end up looking a bit grey by the time I go home. It’s hard work and your hands get rough from handling the heavy bags. We don’t really have time for much else besides making sure the orders are right and the trucks are loaded on time. Muk Agro Centre is a very basic operation but it’s how things move in this part of town and we like it that way.
