Suvarna Karnataka City Taxi is based over in Sahakar Nagar, specifically at 37/11 in G Block of Kodigehalli. Our little office is where we keep track of all the cars and drivers. It’s a residential area, so it’s usually a bit calmer than the city center, but we are always busy. We spend a lot of time on the phone, taking bookings for airport drops or people needing a ride to work. We have a group of drivers who know the city well, and we try to keep the cars in decent shape. It’s a lot of work making sure everyone gets picked up on time, especially with the way traffic is these days. The office itself is nothing special, just a place for us to sit and handle the paperwork and the radio. Sometimes the cars are all out on calls and it gets quiet, then other times everyone comes back at once and it’s a bit of a mess. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything. It’s just us trying to make sure people get where they are going without too much trouble. We know the Sahakar Nagar area really well, but our taxis go all over the city. Most of our work comes from people who live nearby and have our number saved. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a regular one for the local folks.
