If you find yourself in JP Nagar 2nd Phase, you might see us right across from the Navapriya Hotel on 24th Main. We’ve been operating out of this 5th Cross location for a good while. Real estate in this part of Bangalore changes so fast, it is sometimes hard to keep track. We spend most of our day talking to property owners and people looking for a place to rent or buy. It is not always easy because prices fluctuate and paperwork can be a real headache for everyone involved. We try to keep things simple. We have a lot of files and maps around the office showing the different layouts in the neighborhood. Usually, people just drop by after lunch or on their way home to ask about available sites or if we know anyone selling a flat. We don't do big advertisements. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people seeing our board while they eat at the hotel across the street. It’s a lot of sitting around and waiting for phone calls, then suddenly rushing out to show a house before the sun goes down. We know these streets very well by now. Every corner has a different story or a new building going up. It's just us here, trying to match the right person with the right spot in the city. We also spend time checking with the local authorities to make sure the papers we are looking at are legitimate. It can be quite a maze of rules in this city.
