Suryani Arts & Crafts Emporium

You can find us in the North Block of the Manipal Centre on Dickenson Road. It’s a well-known building, so we get quite a bit of foot traffic. Suryani Arts & Crafts Emporium has been here for a long time. We have shelves full of all kinds of things, from small trinkets to bigger pieces of art. It’s a lot to keep track of, honestly. Some days are slow and we just spend the time dusting the shelves and rearranging things. Other days, it’s a bit of a rush with people coming in to look around. We aren't a big chain store. It’s just us here, making sure the shop looks decent and helping people find what they’re looking for. We like the atmosphere of the Manipal Centre. There are always different people walking by. We don't do any big promotions or anything like that. We just open the doors and see who comes in. The address is 1, North Block, and we’ve made this little corner our own. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes because we try to fit so much in, but that’s what makes it interesting. We’ve had some of the same items for a while, and then suddenly someone comes in and loves them. It’s just how it goes in the world of crafts.
