Suresh Real Estate is based out of Girinagar, right along the Andheri Link Road. This part of Mumbai is always moving and the noise from the Link Road never really stops. Our office is a small place where the phone rings more than it should. We have maps pinned to the walls and stacks of folders on every desk. Most of our day is spent talking to people about where they want to live or what shop space is opening up nearby. We aren't a big corporate agency with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us who know the streets of Girinagar and Andheri like the back of our hands. We spend a lot of time out of the office, walking to different buildings or meeting folks at tea stalls to talk about property prices. The office itself is just a base where we can sit down for a minute and catch up on paperwork. It gets a bit dusty from the road outside, and the air conditioner struggles when it’s really humid. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just help people find a place that fits them. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes deals fall through at the last minute, but that’s just how the real estate world is around here. We just keep showing up every morning and answering the calls.
