Surana Minerals & Metals

Surana Minerals & Metals is located at 339/3 in the KHB Colony on Phayre Road. It’s an old building, nothing fancy, but it suits what we do just fine. We deal with various minerals and metal scraps, so there’s usually a bit of dust and the sound of things being moved around. The neighborhood is a mix of residential and small businesses, so we try to keep the noise down when we can. My father used to handle things here before I took over, and not much has changed in terms of how we work every day. We have samples sitting on the shelves and ledgers that we still use alongside the computer. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the files and samples taking up space. Phayre Road gets busy in the afternoon, so we try to get our deliveries sorted out early in the morning. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking the quality of what comes in to the yard. It’s straightforward work without any fluff. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sorting through some paperwork or talking to a vendor over the phone while having tea. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny showroom, just this office in the colony where we've been for years. It’s a reliable spot for us and everyone in the trade knows where to find the Surana office when they need something.
