Supreme Bag Industries

Our place is tucked away at 7 and 8, 3rd Cross in Balepet. It is one of those narrow lanes where you have to watch your step because of the two-wheelers zooming past all the time. Supreme Bag Industries is basically a big room filled with the sound of sewing machines and the smell of raw material and glue. There are bits of thread and fabric scraps on the floor most of the time because we are always cutting and stitching something new. It is not a very quiet environment to be in. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint but nobody really has the time to think about that when there are orders waiting to be finished. We have been in this cross for quite a while now and the neighbors all know us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside on the steps and wait for it to come back while having some tea from the stall at the corner. The workspace is a bit cramped with all the different bags we make stacked in piles everywhere. You have to navigate through narrow paths between the machines and the piles of finished goods. It is a lot of hard work and our hands usually have some marks or stains from the materials by the end of the day. We just keep at it and try to finish what we started so the delivery can happen on time.
