Lalbagh Road is always busy. We've been at 8th Main E Block for a while now. It's a small place, nothing fancy. We do engineering work. Mostly, people come in because they have something broken or they need a part made. My father started things, and now we just keep it going. The lights in the shop are old, but we get the job done. Sometimes the tea guy comes by twice, sometimes he forgets. That’s just how it is here. We have a few lathes and some other equipment that's seen better days, but they still run straight. It's dusty because of the road construction nearby. Most of our day is spent looking at drawings or just measuring things out with the calipers. We don't have a big office or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find me in the back with grease on my hands. It’s a lot of work, and the heat in the summer makes it tough, but we like being in this part of the city. We know the neighbors. The shop at number 38 has been here through a lot of changes in the neighborhood. We don't spend money on ads. People just know where we are. It's just a regular engineering shop doing regular work for local people and businesses who need things fixed up right and without any fuss or corporate talk. We keep it simple and honest every single day.
