Star City Taxi & Travels

Our office is on the 2nd Floor at 60/A Rajajinagar, specifically in the UPKAR NAGAR part of the neighborhood. Being up on the second floor means we can look down at the street and see the cars coming and going. It’s a busy place because we’re always coordinating taxi trips and travel plans for people. The phones are almost always ringing, and there’s usually at least one driver sitting in the corner waiting for his next assignment or finishing his paperwork. We have a big map on the wall that’s a bit faded from the sun, and our desks are covered in logbooks and schedules. It’s not the most modern office, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the printers jam right when we need to hand a receipt to a customer, which is always annoying. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can so nobody is left waiting. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so we tell people to take their time coming up. We’ve got a water cooler that everyone uses, especially in the summer. Working in travel means things change fast, so we’re always adjusting the plans. It’s honest work, and we’ve been in Rajajinagar long enough to know all the shortcuts and backroads. We just want to make sure people get where they’re going without any trouble. It is a simple life here, just managing the fleet and the schedules.
