Srk Coffee

You can find us over at 69-8-42 in the Arakere area. It’s a pretty straightforward spot. We’ve been here for a while now, and the neighbors all know us by now. The building is just a standard one, nothing that really stands out when you’re driving by. Inside, we keep things pretty basic. There are some bags of coffee stacked against the wall and a counter where we handle the daily business. We spend a lot of time just making sure the quality is what it should be. It’s a lot of looking at beans and checking the smell. Arakere is a nice enough place to work. It’s mostly quiet in the mornings, which we like. The afternoon gets a bit more lively when the school kids walk past and people start heading home from their jobs. We don't have a lot of employees, just a few of us who have been doing this for a long time. We know how the machines sound when they are working right and when they are about to act up. It’s just a matter of keeping everything moving. We don't have any big stories to tell. We just like what we do and we like being in this part of town. Every day is pretty much the same as the last, and we’re fine with that. It’s just how we live and how we manage the shop. It works for us.
