Srihari Mineralss

Out here at Survey No-19/2 in Dodda Gubbi Village, things move at a bit of a different pace. Srihari Mineralss is located near the Alfa Engineer College, so we see the students heading to their classes while we are busy with the minerals. It is a lot of outdoor work, handling raw materials and making sure the loads are ready for the transport trucks. The village setting is nice, even if the road gets a bit muddy and difficult when the monsoon hits us. We have got a big yard where most of the action happens. It is loud, it is messy, and you definitely wouldn't want to wear your best clothes here if you were visiting. We spend a lot of time on the phone with drivers and checking the quality of what comes out of the ground. We don't have a big corporate office with air conditioning. Instead, we just have a small room with a fan and a desk where we handle the books and the billing. The work is physically demanding and some days are quite exhausting when the sun is beating down on the village and the dust is flying. But we have been doing this for a while and we know the land around here pretty well. It is a very straightforward operation. We just focus on getting the minerals processed and moved out to where they need to go. No fancy slogans, just a lot of hard work.
