Sri Vinayaka Coffee Works & General Store

We are located at 278/B in Jayanagar, right next to the Digamber Jain Temple. It’s a nice spot in the 5th Block, though the address says 7th Block too, which sometimes makes people look twice. At Sri Vinayaka Coffee Works & General Store, we do a bit of everything. The smell of coffee is usually the first thing people notice when they walk past the 1st Cross. We sell general items too, but the coffee is what keeps us busy. My family has been doing this for a bit. It’s not a corporate office or anything, just a shop with shelves full of jars and packets. We open up early because that's when people want their coffee powder. Being near the temple means we see a lot of people walking by on their way to pray. The shop isn't huge, so it gets a bit crowded when a few people come in at once. We just handle it one person at a time. I spend most of my day weighing out things or stocking the general supplies like pulses or snacks. Jayanagar is a busy place, but our little corner feels a bit more familiar to the locals. We don't have fancy displays, just the stuff people use every day in their kitchens. It's a lot of work keeping things tidy, but we manage. I spend a lot of time cleaning the grinders and making sure the bags are sealed up tight before people take them home.
