Sri Shiva Homemakers

Our shop is located on 4th Cross in Vijaya Nagar, near the 2nd Main road. It’s a small place, listed as 7/116 on the papers. We sell things for the house, mostly stuff people need for their kitchens or bathrooms. It’s not a big showroom or anything like that. Just a local spot where you can pick up a bucket or some steel plates. The space is a bit tight, so you have to watch your step between the aisles. We started out with just a few things and slowly added more as people asked for them. Sometimes the stock takes a few days to arrive and we have to tell people to come back. Most people around here are quite patient about it. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just the regular shutters and a small counter where we sit. It’s usually quiet during the afternoons when it gets hot. We keep a small radio playing in the background just for some noise. My nephew helps out on the weekends when it gets a bit busier with families moving into the new apartments nearby. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate the business. If someone needs a particular size of a cooker or a specific brand of mop, we look through the back room. It’s just us doing what we can in the neighborhood. We don't really have fancy bags or a delivery truck, so people usually just carry their things home and get on with their day.
