About Sri Ranganatha Coffee Works – Food & Beverages in Bengaluru
If you walk down 1st Main Road in Chamrajpet and turn onto 9th Cross, you’ll find us in the Ganesh Complex at 163/2. Sri Ranganatha Coffee Works is a place where the smell of roasting beans hits you before you even see the sign. Chamrajpet is one of the older parts of the city, and it has a very specific feel to it. The Ganesh Complex is an old building, and our space is filled with bags of raw beans and the grinding machines that have been humming for years. It’s a dusty kind of place, but it’s the good kind of dust—coffee dust. We don’t have fancy packaging or a modern cafe setup. It’s just us, the machines, and the customers who have been coming here for decades. Some days the 9th Cross is so crowded with scooters that nobody can move, but people still find their way to our door. We spend our time weighing out portions and chatting with the regulars about the local news. The floors are a bit uneven and the walls could use some scrubbing, but the coffee is what matters. It’s a simple, honest life here in the complex, and we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but this corner of Chamrajpet. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and hope the electricity stays on.
