Sri Manjunathaswamy Engineering Works

Our place is over at J C Industrial estate 5th Main Road 39. It is a busy part of town with lots of trucks moving around all the time. Sri Manjunathaswamy Engineering Works is basically just a few rooms filled with heavy tools and scrap metal. We have been operating out of this unit for a long time. Some days the floor is a mess with metal shavings, but we clean it up when we can. We do a lot of turning and milling work for other businesses nearby. It is loud and it can get hot during the summer, but we do not mind the heat much anymore. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us since we first opened the doors. We do not have a front desk or a secretary, so you just walk in and talk to whoever is nearest to the door. We handle the drawings and the machining ourselves. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves too. It is a simple way to run a business without getting caught up in a lot of paperwork. Every evening we shut the gates and head home, ready to do the same thing tomorrow. It is steady work and it keeps us busy. We like being part of the industrial estate because there is always something happening on the street. It feels like we are right in the middle of things here.
