Sri Malemahadeshwara Engineering Works

Sri Malemahadeshwara Engineering Works is over at 11 Peenya Industrial Area. We are tucked away on 9th Cross in the 3rd Phase. If you have ever been to Peenya, you know it is a place where there is always the sound of metal hitting metal and machines humming in the background. Our shop is just like many others in this area. We have our equipment set up on the floor and there is usually grease and oil around because that is just the nature of engineering work. I spend most of my day wearing my work clothes and making sure everything is running the way it should. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially with the machines running, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze we can. The 9th Cross is a busy little street with trucks constantly loading and unloading stuff. It is not a clean or quiet place, but it is where the work gets done. I have a small corner with a desk where I handle the bills and talk to customers who drop off their parts. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. People just walk in and find us by the machines. It is hard work and the days are long, but we’ve been doing this for a long time at this same spot in Peenya.
