Our place is in the Hucchappa Building over on Incometax Colony Road. We are right there in Kamakshi Palya, which is always a bit chaotic with people moving around. The sign outside for Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Enterprises & Real Estate Agency is a bit faded but you can’t miss us. We do a mix of things, but mostly it is real estate work. That means we spend a lot of time on the phone or driving around to show people different properties. The office is usually a mess of property listings and maps pinned to the walls. We deal with people looking for homes or maybe some land. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of waiting for people to make up their minds. Jogeshwari East is another area we cover, and it’s quite a distance sometimes. We also have the Meghwad side of things to look after. It’s a small team here, so if the phone rings and nobody answers, we’re probably out at a site. Real estate isn't always as exciting as people think. There is a ton of paperwork and checking on titles and stuff like that. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we started. New buildings go up and old ones get torn down. We just keep doing our thing, helping folks find a spot that works for them. It’s a busy life but it keeps us moving. The rooms at 364/371 are where we keep everything organized.
