Sri Krishna Coffee Trading Company is out here at No. 19 in the Jc Industrial Layout. Being on Kanakpura Road, near the Metro station in Yelechinahalli, makes it easier for everyone to get to us. The layout is full of warehouses and small factories, so there is always the sound of machinery or trucks reversing. The best part about our spot is the smell. Since we deal with coffee, the whole area around our unit usually smells like roasted beans, which is much better than the usual industrial smells. We have a large open space where we handle the bags of coffee. It’s a bit dusty, and the floors are concrete, but it’s perfect for moving heavy stuff around. We spend our days grading beans, checking the moisture, and getting everything ready for shipping. It’s physical work, and we all have callouses on our hands from handling the burlap sacks. The office part is just a small corner with a wooden desk and a landline that rings all day. We drink a lot of coffee ourselves, usually the stuff that didn't quite make the grade but still tastes good. The Metro rumbling nearby is something we’ve just gotten used to. It’s a busy life, and we are usually covered in a bit of coffee dust by the time we head home. We just focus on getting the beans sorted and sent out to the people who need them. It's not a fancy operation, but we do our work carefully and keep things moving every day.
