Sri Gajanana Coffee Works

We are over at No.111, right near Chamarajpet Sagar. This area has a lot of history, and we feel like we are a small part of it. Sri Gajanana Coffee Works has been around for a long time. It’s not a fancy cafe where you sit for hours; it’s more of a traditional works where we focus on the coffee itself. The smell of roasting and grinding is very strong here. It gets into your clothes and stays with you all day. We have old machines that make a lot of noise, but they do the job perfectly. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. They know exactly what they want. The shop is simple, with wooden shelves and old containers. We don't spend much on decorations because that’s not what people come here for. They come for the coffee we prepare right here. Sometimes the floor is a bit dusty from the beans, but we sweep it up as we go. Chamarajpet is a nice place to work because it feels like a real neighborhood. We know the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a steady life. We open early in the morning when the air is still cool. By the afternoon, it gets busy with people picking up their supplies on the way home. It’s just how we like it. The old ceiling fan wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving well enough for us.
