If you are looking for Sri Chowdeswari Silk, we are located in Krishnarajpuram over in Surya Nagar. The shop is in the Gokula Complex, which is in Vikhroli West. A good way to find us is to look for the Manipal Poly Clinic, as we are right opposite that. The complex itself has a lot of different businesses, but we have our own little space for the silk. We have all kinds of sarees and fabrics stacked up on the shelves, and it can get quite colorful inside. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when we are looking for a specific pattern a customer saw a week ago. The area is usually bustling with people going to the clinic or the other shops nearby. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; we just open the doors and help whoever walks in. Sometimes the fans don't work as well as they should, but we keep the door open for a breeze. Most of our customers are from the local neighborhood and they know us by name. We spend a lot of time folding and unfolding fabric to show people the different designs. It’s a simple way to spend the day, and we enjoy talking to the regulars who stop by just to say hello. The street outside is always busy, but inside it’s just us and the silk. We don't need much else to keep the shop running.
