Sri Banashankari Engineering Works

Located right at the Subramanyapura Narol Vatva Turning 10, our workshop is where we spend most of our waking hours. It is a bit of a dusty spot, but that is expected with all the grinding and welding going on. We started Sri Banashankari Engineering Works because we knew how to fix things and figured we might as well do it for ourselves. Every day is a mix of different tasks, from small repairs to slightly bigger fabrication jobs. The traffic outside at the turning can get pretty loud, but we are used to it by now. We are not big on fancy titles or having a lot of office meetings. Usually, you will find us with dirt on our hands near the lathe machines. If someone stops by with a broken part, we take a look and see if it can be saved. Sometimes it can, but other times it is better to just make a new one from scratch. We have had the same group of guys working here for a while, so we know how each other works without having to talk too much. It is a straightforward life, really. We open up early, drink some tea, and get to the metalwork. People in the area know where to find us if their equipment breaks down. We just keep our heads down and try to keep the machines running smooth so everything gets out on time. It is steady work.
