Sri Balaji Ice Plant

Down here at Nagawara 2nd Main Road 1384, we have the Sri Balaji Ice Plant. It is a noisy place because the machines are always running to keep things frozen. If you walk by, you will hear the humming from the street. We handle a lot of ice every day, mostly for the local shops and people who need to keep things cold. It gets pretty wet on the floor, so we always wear boots. The building is just a plain structure, nothing special to look at from the outside. We have been at this address for a long long time now. Nagawara is a busy area, and there is always someone needing a delivery or stopping by to pick up a block. Dealing with ice is hard work because it is heavy and it melts fast if you are not quick about it. My hands are usually cold, even in the summer heat. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the main floor where the blocks come out of the molds. It is a simple business, really. We just make sure the water is clean and the compressors stay running through the night. If a machine breaks, it is a big problem, so we spend a lot of time fixing pipes and checking levels. It is just what we do here on the 2nd Main Road. You can't miss the sound of the trucks loading up in the early morning.
