We’ve been operating Sri Ayyappa Estate Agencies from this spot at 325 JP Nagar for a while now. If you know where Siddeshwara Theatre is, then we are very easy to find because we’re just right there. JP Nagar is a big area, but this particular pocket has its own rhythm. We mostly handle local property matters and help folks find places around here. It’s a small operation, just a few of us who know the streets and the landlords pretty well. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a regular room with some maps and files. People drop in all the time to ask about what’s available or just to chat about how the prices are changing in the neighborhood. We see a lot of families looking for homes and sometimes younger people moving in for work. It’s interesting to see how the area has grown since the theatre was the main landmark. We keep things pretty simple here. No fancy sales talk or anything like that. We just tell people what we know and try to help them figure out their options. Most of our work comes from people who live nearby and know our faces. We spend a lot of time out on our scooters checking out different sites, so sometimes the office is a bit quiet, but someone is usually around to answer the door. It's a lot of work keeping track of all the different owners, but we've been doing it long enough that it's second nature.
