Spirits

So we are tucked away here in Koramangala VI Block on Commercial Street. If you look for number 122/B, that is where the shop is. It’s not a huge place, but we fit a lot onto the shelves. Most days start around ten when the shutters go up and the dust from the street gets on everything. This part of town is always moving. You have people walking by all the time, mostly folks living in the apartments around here or people heading to work. We spend a lot of time just moving bottles around and checking what needs to be restocked. The counter is a bit scratched up from all the years of use, but it does the job fine. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road outside and then the traffic gets backed up, which makes things a bit loud. We have those old ceiling fans that click when they are on high, but they keep the air moving during the afternoons. It gets really busy on Friday evenings when everyone is done for the week. You see the same faces every few days, which is nice. We don't really do much fancy stuff, just keep the place open and make sure there is enough stock for whoever walks through the door. It’s just how things go here on this street. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the neighborhood has changed a lot, but the shop stays pretty much the same.
